The Room
Small on purpose.
The room is small on purpose. Three walls of dark wood, one wall of brick, brass at the bar, and a single line of light running the length of the back banquette. The volume sits where it should sit for a Tuesday at 10pm, where you can read the menu without leaning in, and where a conversation does not have to win. Music is mostly soul, house, and quiet hip-hop after midnight. On Fridays, a DJ plays from a booth set into the back wall. The room is built for sitting for hours, not standing for one.

House classics
A short rotation of the drinks you came in for. Built to spec, served properly, without fanfare.
Three originals
Three drinks the bar wrote. One spirit-forward, one bright, one for late.
A spirits list a buyer reads
Whisky, agave, gin, vodka, aperitif, digestif. Listed with care, poured at the right pour.

Snacks
Olives, almonds, salted radish. Small plates built to drink alongside, not built to fill the table.
Plates
A handful of plates that hold up at a low light. The chef writes the page, the bar pairs it.
Late
A late list that runs after 11pm. Built for the second drink, not the first.
