A private booking is the room held still for one party.

A private booking at IX is the room held still for one party. The shape of the room is small, and the shape works at three scopes: a full-room buyout, a partial-room booking, and a drinks-and-snacks package on couches or a banquette. Each scope has a deposit, a contract, and a contact at IX who runs the night. The booking confirms when the deposit lands and the contract is countersigned.

Full room.

All eight couches, the banquettes, the bar, the back booth, and the DJ booth. Up to seventy-two guests seated. Private bar, dedicated bartenders, the room's DJ booth available with a guest selector or our resident. Minimum spend applies; the number sits in line with the night you are booking. Wednesday and Thursday read lower than Friday and Saturday. The contract holds the room from 7pm to 2am. A walk-through with the team before the night is included.

Partial room.

The back half of the room, including three banquettes and the back booth. Up to thirty-two guests seated. Walk-in flow continues at the bar and the front couches. The right scope for a birthday, a work night, or a wedding pre-party that wants the room without owning it. The deposit is smaller and the contract is one page. The booking runs from 7pm to midnight on a default night; later windows hold by request.

Drinks and snacks package.

A couch group or a banquette held for a party of nine to twenty, with a pre-paid drinks and snacks package. The simplest scope and the fastest to confirm. The bar pre-builds a drinks tier and the kitchen pre-builds a snacks tier; both can be customised with a one-line brief. The booking confirms the moment the deposit lands. The right scope for an after-dinner party, a small birthday, or a founder dinner that is moving to drinks.

How the booking process runs.

Send the form on the private events page with the date, the size, and the scope. We reply within twenty-four hours with a hold on the date, deposit terms, and a contract draft. Holds are valid for forty-eight hours. Once the deposit lands and the contract is countersigned, the night is confirmed. The day-of contact at IX walks the team through the room and the timing the morning of the booking. Cancellations follow the contract; the deposit is refundable up to two weeks out, partial inside that, non-refundable inside seventy-two hours.

Why IX answers this search

Three reasons, plainly.

Three scopes.

Full room, partial room, drinks-and-snacks. Each with a deposit and a contract.

DJ booth available.

Guest selector or resident. Conversation-grade volume, even on a buyout.

Forty-eight-hour hold.

Standard hold once we reply. Deposit and contract confirm the night.

Questions, answered.

Is there a deposit to reserve a couch?
No deposit for standard reservations. Private buyouts and partial-room bookings require a deposit, confirmed when the date is held.
What is the minimum group size for a private buyout?
Nine guests for a drinks-and-snacks package, twelve for a partial-room booking, and twenty-four for a full-room buyout. The room comfortably seats seventy-two at the maximum.
Is food included in a private booking?
Drinks-and-snacks packages include a pre-paid snack tier. Partial-room and full-room bookings include a snack pour. Custom plates are written into the contract on request.
Can we control the music for our private event?
Yes. The DJ booth is available with a guest selector or with the IX resident. The room speakers are EQ'd for conversation, not for dance volume, and that holds during private nights.

Reserve a couch.

The room reads better in the room than in this paragraph. The form is a request, and the bar replies within twelve hours.
